We're looking for a backend developer with strong Node.js experience. You'll design, build, and maintain the server side of the websites, apps, and custom software we build for clients.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs in Node.js
- Work with our frontend developers to connect interfaces to server-side logic
- Model data and write efficient queries in MongoDB, MySQL, or similar databases
- Write reusable, tested code, and debug and tune performance
- Plan and ship new features with designers, developers, and project leads
What you'll bring
- Proven experience as a backend developer working mainly in Node.js
- A solid grasp of asynchronous programming and service-based architecture
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB or MySQL
- Familiarity with frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Git and agile ways of working
- Clear communication and careful attention to detail
